      David E. Olmsted

David has practiced law in Charlotte County and surrounding communities since 1970. He is recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer, and in addition to all aspects of real estate law, also maintains a substantial probate and estate planning practice.

David is an Ohio native, but has made Florida his residence since 1958. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University in 1961, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 1968. He served on active duty in the U.S. Naval Reserve as a shipboard officer for 3 1/2 years. David is a past president of the Charlotte County Bar Association, and is a member of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Section. He is a past director of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and the Charlotte Harbor Kiwanis Club, and has been regularly involved with other civic and service organizations in the community
