Michael, a shareholder of the Olmsted & Wilson, P.A. law firm since 1998, focuses his practice in the areas of real estate law, title insurance, business formation, estate planning and probate. Michael is a native of Port Charlotte. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University School of Law at New Orleans. Michael was admitted to the practice of law in the state of Florida in 1996, and is a member of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Section.
He has served as President of the Charlotte County Bar Association and as a board member of its Legal Aid Committee. Michael has served as a board member for many local charitable organizations, and currently is legal counsel for the Charlotte County Code Enforcement Board. He is also a member of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council.
