Carrie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Law from Western Carolina University, graduating cum laude from the University's Honors College. She then relocated to Florida and attended Florida State University's College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree in May, 2007. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in December, 2007 and to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida in July, 2008.

Carrie focuses her practice in guardianship, elder law, probate and estate planning. She is a member of the Charlotte County Young Professionals’ Association, a board member for the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County, and is a past Secretary for the Charlotte Estate Planning Council.
